Our Projects

Cradle - House of Restoration (established 2010)

Our HOUSE OF RESTORATION is a safe haven and a place of empowerment for destitute, vulnerable and abused women, their children, as well as young teenage girls. They come to us from all over the country, and have often been the victims of domestic violence, abuse, sexual trauma and human trafficking; many of them turned to addiction and prostitution. They all have one desire in common: To let go of their past and to build a better future – for themselves, and for their children.

At the HOUSE OF RESTORATION we offer these women a chance to create those new and improved lives. Our approach is holistic, to ensure that all the needs of the individuals are met: Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We give them a home, food, clothing; love, support and guidance. They receive counselling, therapy and practical assistance; new skills are taught, existing ones further developed – enabling them to become women with regained dignity and self-worth; productive members of society, able to fend for themselves and their children.

We believe that a mother’s own well-being and stability plays a crucial role in the well-being of her children and family. At our HOUSE OF RESTORATION we accommodate mothers together with their children, keeping the family unit intact – we can assist up to 30 women & children at any given time.
